Scott Greenberg – Chief Executive Officer

Scott Greenberg is an experienced C-Level managerial, financial and operations executive at multiple startups.  Amongst these startups, Scott was the Chief Operating Officer of IQM2, a Software-as-a-Service government technology provider and executed the sale to Accela (now Granicus/Vista Equity Partners).  Scott also co-founded NatureCity, a still-thriving nutritional supplement company.  Prior to embarking on the entrepreneurial path, Scott was a Bond Trader at Citigroup.

Scott received his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management.  He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan.

 

Craig Gile – Founder and President

Craig Gile has experience in a number of alternative investments, including as Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Black Falcon Capital Management, a Global Macro hedge fund.  Craig was a Managing Director at Citigroup, where he was a Bond Trader and served as the Head of the Americas for the Commodity Derivatives division.  Prior to heading to Wall Street, Craig served as a Naval Aviator in the US Navy.

Craig received his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in Finance with a Concentration in Strategic Management.  He received a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University.

Bill Donovan - Chief Growth Officer

Bill Donovan is a high-energy and passionate leader with a track record of leading businesses and marketing functions in multi-billion dollar companies as well as startups across the USA and Europe. Prior to joining Arteria,  Bill was Senior Vice President at US Nutraceuticals, where he has launched their Direct-to-Consumer business focusing on prostate health.  Prior to this role, Bill was the General Manager of the Human Performance Institute, a division of Johnson & Johnson.  Prior to HPI, he had many roles as a Head of Marketing, Brand Manager and managing businesses in the Life Sciences division of Johnson & Johnson.

Bill received his MBA from Duke University, where he majored in Marketing and Operations.  He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University.

James Howe - Chief Development Officer

James Howe has a long track record of success as a Partner in the investment banking industry. He is a seasoned entrepreneur with a background in investor relations, leveraged finance, and fund management. James holds a MALS, International Economics from Georgetown University and a Bachelors degree in History from Vanderbilt University.

Ken Brzozowski - Chief Operating Officer

Ken Brzozowski focuses on all operational aspects of working with partners on product development, production and distribution logistics to customers around the world. Prior to joining Arteria, Ken spent 20+ years implementing complex programs in the banking industry to support transformation and regulatory driven change. Prior to banking, Ken consulted clients in manufacturing, consumer & eletronic product induistries focused on large-scale implementations and process automation improvements.

Ken received his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, where he majored in Finance & Entrepreneurial Management.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Business Analysis from Penn State University.

Jacob Budnitz - Chief Innovation Officer

Jacob Budnitz is a researcher and former competitive swimmer who invented a portable, affordable, and reusable palmar cooling device while studying at Stanford University. Since graduating, Jacob has joined Arteria as the company's Chief Innovation Officer, working to research and develop novel palmar cooling technology and applications.

Dr. Joe Bielitzki – Founder and Chief Science Officer

Recently retired from NASA, Dr. Joe Bielitzi served as Chief Veterinary Officer at the organization for over 10 years.  He also served at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), where he was a Program Manager for the Peak Soldier Performance Program.  He has served as the Chief Science Officer at Mars, Inc. and has been a Senior Fellow in Biomedical research at the University of Washington, Emory University and the University of Central Florida.

Jesse Wright - Director, Sports

Jess is an experienced high-performance professional and best-selling author. He has spent over two decades working in the team sport culture, including work with organizations in the NBA, NFL, NCAA, and in private sector sports training. Jesse holds an MS in High Performance Sport from Australian Catholic University, and a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Temple University.

Dr. Craig Heller

Dr Heller is a Professor of Biological Sciences and Human Biology at Stanford University and serves as an Advisor to Arteria Technology, Inc.  His work has focused on the regulation of body temperature in mammals and the relationship between temperature and human performance.  He formerly served as the Chairman of the Biological Sciences Department at Stanford as well as the Chairman of Stanford University Committee on Research.  He has authored numerous research papers as well as a leading college textbook on Biology.

Dr Heller earned his PhD in Biology from Yale University.

Dr. Dennis Grahn

Dr. Grahn is formerly a Senior Research Scientist in the Biological Sciences Department at Stanford University and serves as an Advisor to Arteria Technology, Inc.  He is an experienced scientific researcher in mammalian thermoregulation, hibernation, sleep and circadian rhythms and has authored numerous research papers on these subjects.  Along with Dr Heller, he  has developed the technology to take advantage of their discovery of the optimum thermoregulatory pathway for temperature control in humans.

Dr. Grahn earned his PhD in Biological Sciences from Stanford University.

Klee Kleber - Key Strategic Advisors

Kleber is a co-Founder of BuildGroup, an alternative investment firm in Austin, Texas.  Prior to BuildGroup, Klee was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at Rackspace, a Cloud Business Solutions company.  He served as Vice President of Marketing for Segway, and before Segway was Vice President of Marketing and General Management at Dell Computer.

Klee received his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management.  Klee received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rice University.

John Riley - Key Strategic Advisors

Riley recently retired from PepsiCo, where he was CFO of the Nutrition division, which is comprised of three major businesses -- Gatorade, Quaker Oats and Tropicana.  In this role, he gained extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, as well as financial and strategic planning.  John also serves as a mentor for San Diego Sports Innovators, a startup incubator.  Prior to joining PepsiCo, John served as a Naval Aviator in the US Navy.

John received his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in Finance with a Concentration in Strategic Management.  John received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the United States Naval Academy.
